Wedding coverage at Château de Ferrières

From preparations in Paris to the reception at Château de Ferrière

Mr. and Mrs.'s preparations

They were married at the beginning of 2022 in one of the most beautiful wedding venues in France, the Château de Ferrières, in Seine et Marne.

The day began with a quick visit by the wedding photographer to the groom-to-be to immortalize his preparations early in the morning. He spent a few minutes with the groom to take a few photos of him getting dressed, and of his closest friends and family. The groom was completely zen and ready to live his wedding day in the most beautiful way. A coffee, a few jokes and a few minutes later my Canon cameras were already starting to fill up. His shoes, his watch, his belt and his perfume, I always enjoy these moments of detail photography. Here, it was simply on the living room dining table that I quickly arranged the main accessories of her day.

I soon joined the bride in the heart of Paris, in the 7th arrondissement. The hairstyling was done in a magnificent salon run by experts in the trade and key influencers in their field, PATRICK & MARCEL PARIS, 6 Rue Dupont des Loges. The decor is splendid, and as a wedding photographer, it's easy to concentrate on the composition and aesthetics.

On the same street, just a few meters from the salon, you'll find a beauty salon and a small wedding dress boutique. There's also a pretty basement salon dedicated to bridal try-ons. To simplify all her travels, the bride had the great idea of getting ready there. The setting is ideal, sober and completely in keeping with the theme of the day!

A first look at the Buttes-Chaumont park

We headed for the town hall in the 19th arrondissement, just across from the Buttes Chaumont, for the first look and the civil ceremony. Did you know that this town hall has a special feature for newlyweds? It's the only Parisian town hall whose wedding hall decoration has a theme... marriage! In fact, a magnificent painting of a civil ceremony is on the wall just above the mayor's office. It's also one of the most beautiful town halls in Paris.

Half an hour before the ceremony, we gathered in the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont for the first look. This first moment when the bride and groom meet is of paramount importance, both for the bride and groom and for the wedding photographer. It's where they exchange their first glances, their first impressions and their eyes start to sparkle for the first time of the day. It's the best way to start your day together.

The civil ceremony at the 19th arrondissement town hall

The town hall is magnificent, with a grand staircase, a facade adorned with sculptures, and above all, as I explained earlier on this page, this magnificent painting in the wedding hall. The ceremony took just 45 minutes, enough time for the guests to enter, the bride and groom to be welcomed, the legal texts to be read, and the exchange of consent and wedding rings.

Reception, cocktail party and evening at Château de Ferrière

After the traditional group photos in the park, we all hurried off to the reception venue. The Chateau de Ferrière, in the Seine-et-Marne region of France, offers the finest possible facilities for a princess wedding. It boasts an English-style park ideal for photos and cocktails, as well as several private lounges in which to prepare in sumptuous surroundings. For me, this Château is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the IDF, as much for the setting and the photos as for the various services it offers the bride and groom. And what about the ballroom? Paintings representing the historical figures of the Rothschild family, former owners of the mansion, are on every wall of this magnificent room, the chandeliers, the ceiling height.... everything is incredible.
