Wedding at Ecuries du Gâtinais in Seine et Marne
A wedding organized by Yes We Do
I work regularly with a number of wedding planner agencies, especially in the Seine-et-Marne region and Paris. This makes my work much easier, because the bride and groom are much more serene. On the big day, there's never a hitch in the organization and decoration of the event. When there's a wedding planner, I can concentrate on what's important: my wedding report, and so can the bride and groom. The Yes We Do agency contacted me to offer my services.
A family session before the wedding
After a first meeting in a Parisian café with Celine and David, we had a pre-wedding engagement session. This is the famous love session that all couples should have at least once, whether they're married or not. For Delphine and David, the session turned into a family portrait session, which often happens when children are already present in the couple.
Preparations at home
On the big day, I joined Delphine at the hairdresser's before going to her place to cover the rest of the preparations. We had time to share breakfast before the start of the bride's make-up and dressing. David also spent the whole morning getting ready on the spot, avoiding of course running into the bride, as they had agreed that the first look would be at the town hall and not before. Between the children, the family and the Yes We Do team, who were already there from the start, there were a lot of people in this beautiful house.
The village hall in Seine et Marne and the evening at Ecuries du Gâtinais
As with every wedding, there was a lot of emotion and tender moments. After the civil wedding in a tiny town hall in a tiny village in Seine et Marne, we gathered at the Ecuries du Gâtinais estate for cocktails and the evening.
Mini portrait sessions during the cocktail
Everything went off without a hitch, in a setting sublimated by meticulous decoration. Thanks to generous weather conditions, top-notch guests and a light schedule during the cocktail party, and this last point being thanks to the involvement of the entire Yes We Do team, I was able to organize mini portrait sessions at the request of numerous guests, a few extracts of which I'm sharing here. It's quite rare to be able to do it in these conditions, but whenever possible, since this wedding I've systematically offered portraits to the couples and families gathered during the cocktail party. Each time, it's an opportunity to talk more with the guests and to give them a souvenir that's important to them, as they rarely have the chance to have their photo taken by a professional photographer, and on that day, they're usually dressed in their best.
