Oriental wedding documentary at the Grand Mas de Uzès - Gard

This wedding took place in August 2015. It was in Uzès, near Nîmes and Montpellier in the south of France. For me, who lives in Paris, traveling so far has become a seasonal habit, much to my delight. I had already photographed Nadia and Mourad's engagement the previous year, and saw them many times between the two events.

As a little anecdote from that D-day, at the very end of the preparations, in the bedroom, there was a little incident involving a spilled bottle of Coca Cola (a little blunder on the part of the make-up artist). The subtle mixture of Coke and foundation powder was heading dangerously towards the pretty wedding dress hanging on its hanger in the same room. But Nadia's photographer, gifted with legendary reflexes, stepped in with a starry leap in front of the dress and saved the wedding. Fortunately, as always, I had an alternative with me. It would have been more difficult for the dress, which escaped unscathed...
