Stephanie and Ahmed at Riad Nejma in Paris - Wedding

Preparations in Levallois-Perret in the Hauts de Seine department

I joined Stéphanie at the hairdresser's early in the morning in Levallois-Perret. In the presence of her best friend, the magic of this very important day for her had already begun to work: smiles, serenity and emotion. A few of the usual logistical worries of wedding days remained to be sorted out, but she had cleverly delegated everything to those closest to her. After a quick visit to the make-up artist, we all met up at the bride's parental home to get dressed and make the final preparations.

Neuilly sur Seine Town Hall

Stéphanie and Ahmed are a mixed Franco-Oriental couple, so traditionally Ahmed picked her up by car from his parents' home, accompanied by his family and a group of musicians. A few folk dances took place in front of the residence before the procession left for Neuilly-sur-Seine town hall.

The ceremony took place in the town hall's splendid Salle des Fêtes. There was a lot of emotion, laughter, smiles and exchanged glances. The exit from the town hall was just as danceable as the entrance, with the group of musicians always on hand.

Couple's Evening and Séane at Riad Nejma in Rambuteau

Our love-session was originally scheduled to take place at the Jardin des Tuileries. But when it rained, we headed straight for the venue: Riad Nejma, in downtown Paris. There, we improvised our couple session and enjoyed the restaurant all to ourselves while waiting for our guests to arrive. The evening's dancing ended late, in a beautiful Arabian Nights atmosphere.
