Love at first sight

From the very first telephone contact with Otilia, I knew the feeling was there, and our pre-wedding meeting at her home in Seine et Marne with Michael only confirmed it. I felt immediately at ease, and I think they did too. We didn't have enough time before the wedding to get to know each other better, so we talked a lot during our pre-wedding interview to understand what characterizes them, their history, their personalities and, above all, their tastes and their relationship with images and photography... Of course, I also tell them about myself, my approach and the way I work, and I give them lots of little secrets for successful organization on the big day.

Preparations and Town Hall in Meaux, Seine et Marne

Only a few days later, the ceremony took place in the magnificent town hall of Meaux in Seine et Marne (77). The photo of their fiery embrace as they left the town hall has been in my portfolio since that month of October 2014, and I still find it one of my most beautiful wedding photos. It captures everything I love: the spontaneity, the children, the family around them, the commitment, the passion and the love that can be felt all around them - that's what wedding magic is all about.

Cocktail party at La Bergerie in Quincy Voisins

After this beautiful ceremony and memorable exit from the town hall, the large procession headed for Quincy Voisins for cocktails and the evening in a farmhouse: La Bergerie. There was only a large courtyard available for group or couple photos, so we traditionally took the group photos there, before escaping to the surrounding fields with the bride and groom for their love-session.

Back at the hall, the atmosphere was just as intense as at all the Portuguese weddings I do, and the bride and groom and their guests celebrated their union until very late at night.

On their wedding day, from the early hours of the morning to the late hours of the night, in front of their wedding photographer 's lens, Otilia and Michael were natural, elegant and, above all, passionate, torrid and fiery...
