Reportage Wedding at Moulin Ste Agnès - Eure-et-Loir
I've known Manu since the Lycée Voltaire in Paris. Together, we roamed the streets of Paris during student demonstrations, squatted in numerous cafés to remake the world, slept in campsites on the Dune du Pila on stormy, lightning-filled nights - in short, we've never left each other since we were teenagers.
I'd been following his love affair with Myriam from the start, and they're both among my dearest friends, so I agreed not to be the guest photographer, but the official photographer. Obviously, this wasn't like any other service, as I knew quite a few of the guests. I sincerely believe that it's much more difficult to cover the wedding of someone close to you, as the personal emotion is much greater and more confusing. It's my experience that allows me to take a different point of view at these moments, which guarantees that I'll get the most beautiful photos possible.
The wedding took place in Marnes-la-Coquette, in the Hauts de Seine for the preparations and the town hall, then we went as far as the Moulin Ste Agnès, in Landelles, near Chartres, in the Eure et Loire in a magnificent setting... I'll let you discover my selection of my first wedding for all.
