Couple Engagement session in Montmartre

This summer 2016 I met up with Sophie and Nicolas in the Montmartre district of Paris to carry out the engagement session of which I share a few images here. As a Parisian photographer, I'm familiar with the different districts of the capital and I generally suggest routes that are rather far from the crowds, which is also the case for the Butte Montmartre district. We met up at Place des Abesses to start our walk around the Sacré Coeur on the Butte. We also took the opportunity to go over the wedding schedule in detail.

A few weeks later, at the end of August, they were married in Burgundy at the Domaine "Le Cellier du Petit Pontigny" in the small town of Chablis, and as luck would have it, they'll be unveiling their wedding photos this very evening as I write these words! A very moving wedding that I'll be sure to share on this blog in the near future.
