Your wedding organized with me, from A to Z
Portfolio discovery and first contact
-
Agree with the wedding photographer's approach, appreciate his portfolio
First of all, you need to make the right choice. Over and above the definite or undefined expense you wish to allocate to your memories, it is first and foremost a photographic one. When you choose a photographer, you need to be sure you can identify with his or her portfolio, and feel in tune with his or her approach. First and foremost, you need to like and appreciate the photos you see on his website or Instagram. They reveal much more than his photographic style. They tell you about his approach, his preferences and, above all, his sensibility. In my portfolio, for example, you'll discover what's most important to me, both in photography and in real life. I share my values, my vision of important things, my sensibility. I show you the authenticity of the moment, the power of feelings and the beauty of human emotions.

Contact the wedding photographer as soon as possible
If the portfolio appeals to you, don't hesitate to contact me for further information. The first will already be my availability on your wedding date. You can contact me directly by phone or via the contact form on this website. Being a wedding photographer in Paris inevitably means having a very full schedule, so the sooner you contact me, the greater the chances I'll be available! You'll also be able to make sure that the budget fits, of course. And if these two aspects are validated, we can then meet for a longer period. I meet my future brides and grooms by video, and when planning allows, in person over a coffee.

Initial advice and answers to all your questions
-
Get to know each other during an initial face-to-face meeting, in Paris or by videoconference.
This is where our photographic relationship really begins. From this first meeting, where we discuss in detail the course of your wedding day, your wishes and your expectations, we begin to build the reportage. During this exchange, I'll give you lots of advice and share all my professional experience with you. The aim is to give you all the information you need to prepare your wedding day in the best possible way. It's also important to make sure we're on the same wavelength. So if the meeting is a success, I'll send you a contract binding our mutual commitments.

The first session, in front of the photographer's lens

-
A couple's first photo session in Paris, IDF or elsewhere in France
For the majority of couples who choose me as their professional wedding photographer in Paris, we meet a few weeks before the big day for an engagement session. It's a first photographic experience with me that gives you many advantages. First and foremost, it's an opportunity to get together with your professional photographer for a fun, tender and often romantic moment, usually in Paris. Above all, it's an opportunity to take beautiful photos of your couple in civilian clothes, ideal for preparing your invitations. The real advantage of this session is to reassure you before the wedding by already having photos of you taken by your photographer. This way, you already know how I work on the big day, and you're more at ease with me and my cameras. The engagement session is in a way the first step towards authenticity and naturalness on the wedding day.
The 2 briefings before D-day

-
A few weeks before the wedding
With just a few weeks to go before the wedding, you'll normally have a much more detailed schedule than we first discussed. The aim of this first briefing is to go through the D-day planning in detail, from the preparations to the wedding cake and beyond. At this stage, if necessary, I'll take the liberty of advising you on key moments in the process, and share with you my experience of what works well and what doesn't in the planning. At this stage, I also ask you what I think are the most important prerequisites to prepare for D-day. We also check that everything is perfect in terms of the contract and the choice of post-processing, if any.
-
A few days before the wedding, the final briefing with me
3-4 days before the wedding, we have a final briefing to make sure we've made all the final adjustments to the schedule, with a clear view of the weather and, if necessary, any B plans.
It's a short meeting to check that everything is ready for the big day. It's time for final advice, and to check all the information, contact details, access codes and schedule.
On the big day, it's all about authenticity, emotion and naturalness!

From wedding preparations to the end of the evening
From beauty to civil, secular or religious ceremonies
In most cases, I join you as soon as the preparations begin. At your home or another location of your choice, I capture the key moments of the beauty process. Hairstyle, make-up, wedding dress, wedding ring, I take photos of all the details of the moment, the context and the atmosphere. During these preparations, I don't interact with you at all, letting you live your moment to the full. It's then during the civil ceremony, followed by the religious or secular one, that I capture the moving, solemn and authentic moments.

Original or traditional group photos, cocktails / vin d'honneur
Group photos are best taken after the ceremonies and before the vin d'honneur. I have a dedicated article in the blog detailing how to approach this crucial moment in your day. As far as possible, we try to anticipate this often trying and tiring moment for the bride and groom, by preparing detailed lists, and delegating the organization to those closest to you... In short, we put all the chances on our side to attack the vin d'honneur quickly and be able to take full advantage of your reception venue (Château, Estate, Farmhouse, Hotel...) and above all of your guests.

Evenings until 2 a.m. and longer if necessary
From the start of the evening with the entrance to the room until 1 or 2 in the morning, I'll be among your guests. I'll be as close to you as possible, while being everywhere and nowhere at the same time. During the meal, I'll capture the funny moments, the portraits, the speeches, the opening of the ball, the pièce montée and the dancefloor fire will be my last photos. I take them raw and natural.

After the wedding, post-processing and photo delivery

Sorting and developing your photos
I need 3 weeks to sort and rework each of your wedding photos. As a professional photographer, I pay particular attention to post-processing. Everything is taken into account for every photo. Color, contrast, light, small details in the image, I rework every aspect of the image. Sometimes I push the post-processing in Photoshop to modify elements of the decor if necessary, sometimes more.
Web gallery delivery, books and prints
So, 3 weeks after the big day, I deliver a secure web gallery for you and your guests. You can then choose the most beautiful photos to include in a book of your choice. I offer these as an option and in some of my packages. They're made of leather and open flat, by top-of-the-range publishers I've selected thanks to a decade of experience. For print aficionados, I also offer high-end black & white and color prints.
